Homemade Chicken Momo ππ From Sneha's Kitchen
INGREDIENTS :-
MOMO DOUGH
All purpose flour 2 Cups
Salt
Oil 2Tlsp
Luke warm water
MOMO FILLING
Minced chicken 250gm
Chopped onion 1 large
Chopped ginger 1Tlsp
Chopped garlic 1 Tlsp
Black paper 1Tsp
Salt
Vinegar 1/2 Tsp
Dark soya sauce 1Tsp
Chopped spring onion 1Tlsp
METHOD :-
In a bowl, Mix flour with oil , salt and water.
Now, knead the flour mix into a soft dough and cover with a wet cloth and keep aside .
Then take a mixing bowl and add minced chicken , salt , black paper , vinegar , dark soya sauce and spring onions. Mix them well and marinate it for 30 mins.
Heat 2 Tlsp oil into a pan and add chopped onion and saute for 3 mins then add chopped garlic and ginger and cook for 2 mins then add the marinated chicken and cook well.
PREPARING THE DUMPLINGS:-
Divide the dough into 4 equal parts.
Then take one part and dust the kitchen counter with dry flour. Roll the dough into thin and big roti . Then cut it into small circle through a bowl or glass. Repeat the same for rest 3 portions.
Place small amount of Chicken mix into the center of the small circle and give shape of momo with the help of water.
Then place the dumplings into a greased steamer , cover and cook them for 15 min on low to medium flame.
SERVE:- The chicken momo is ready to serve hot with momo sauce and soup.
