Chicken Bharta from Sneha's Kitchen
INGREDIENTS:-
500 gms boneless chicken strips
2 boiled eggs
2 chopped onion
Ginger paste 1Tlsp
Garlic paste 1Tlsp
1 Tomato puree
Turmeric powder
Cumin powder
Coriander powder
Red chilli powder
Tandoori masala
Curd 2 Tlsp
Cashew & melon seeds paste 2 Tlsp (1:1)
Fresh cream 2 Tlsp
Garam masala
Refined oil
Butter
Whole Garam masala ( bay leaves, green cardamom , cinnamon sticks , cloves )
Roasted kasuri methi powder
METHOD :-
Heat oil in a kadai .
Then add whole Garam masala to the oil .
Then add the chopped onion and cook it till translucent .
Then add the ginger , garlic and tomato puree . Saute it for 5 mins .
Then add the masalas with some water and add it into the gravy .
Then add the chicken and mix it to the gravy and cook it for 2 mins . Then cover it and cook it on low flame for 7 -8 mins.
Then add the cashew - melon seeds paste , curd , fresh cream. Mixed well and cook for 4 mins on low flame .
Now add the boiled eggs , cut into small pieces , kasuri methi , garam masala powder and butter. mix them well .
Finally cover it with lid and switch off the flame and let it rest for 5 mins.
SERVE:- The Chicken bharta is ready to serve with roti , paratha etc.
