Bangalir Aloo Dia Panthar Jhol From Sneha's Kitchen
INGREDIENTS:-
Mutton 500 gm
4 big sized potatoes cut into halves
Sliced onion
Ginger paste
Garlic paste
Chopped tomato 1
Whole garam masala ( bay leaves , cinnamon stick , green cardamom , black cardamom , red chilli , clove )
Hing 1 pinch
Turmeric powder
Red chilli powder
Kashmiri red chilli powder
Garam masala
Mustard oil
Ghee
Salt
Sugar
Heat oil in a kadai and fry the potatoes with salt and turmeric powder and keep them aside.
Then add 1tsp of sugar and caramelize it .
Then add hing & whole garam masalas and fry it for 15 sec.
Then add chopped onion and fry until golden brown on medium flame .
Then add ginger and garlic paste and cook it for 5 min on medium heat .
After that add the chopped tomato & salt and mixed well . Cover it and cook untill the tomato get cook.
Then add turmeric powder , chilli powder , Kashmiri red chilli powder with some water and cook until the oil separate .
Then add the mutton pcs and fried potatoes . Mix well and cook for 8 - 10 min on low to medium flame. add boil water if require .
After that transfer the curry from the kadai into a pressure cooker put on lid and whistle it for 5 times .
Finally open the lid and check the mutton , salt , sugar and adjust it if require . Then add 1 Tlsp of ghee and garam masala powder .
SERVE :- The mutton curry is ready to serve with hot steem rice .
