CHENAR KORMA From Sneha's Kitchen
INGREDIENTS:
* Chena or cottage cheese 200 gms
* All purpose flour 2 Tsp
* Curd 3 Tlbs
* Ginger 2 inch
* Green chilli 4 - 5
( paste the ginger and chilli together with some water )
* Poppy seeds paste 3 Tlbs
* Turmeric powder 1/2 Tsp
* Kashmiri red chilli powder 1/2 Tsp
* Cumin powder 1/2 Tsp
* Coriander powder 1/2 Tsp
* Garam masala powder 1 Tlsp
* Whole garam masala ( 1 red chilli , 4 green cardamom , cinnamon stick and cloves)
* Ghee 1 Tlsp
* Salt
* Sugar
METHOD:
• At first take the chena , flour , salt , suger , ginger & green chilli paste 3 tsp and 1/2 tsp garam masala. And mixed them together.
• Then take some oil in hands and Take small amount of dough and pressing by hands give them a oblong shapes.
• After that take 4 Tlsp of oil in a kadai and add whole garam masalas for tempering. ( 1 red chilli, 4 cardamoms, cinnamon stick & 3 cloves )
• Then add ginger - chilli paste and fry.
• After that give turmaric , cumin, coriander , Kashmiri red chilli powder , salt and sugar and fry for 5 mins in medium heat.
• Then turn off the flame and add the curd which is mixed well with little bit of suger then mixed well.
• After mixing it turn on the flame and cook of few mins then add the poppy seeds paste and mixed well in low flame for 2 -3 mins.
• Then add water and boil for 2 mins and add the fried chena and cook for few mins.
SERVE: Now the chena korma is ready to serve hot with pulao, paratha.
